How to get to the meeting point?
On foot
The Louvre is in a central area just a short walk from places like the Tuileries Garden, the Palais Garnier or the Île de la Cité and Notre Dame.
Metro
Line 1 or 7 – Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre Station When you exit, follow the signs to the museum.
Line 14 – Pyramides Station About a 10-minute walk.
Bus
Several lines stop near the museum, including: 24, 27, 39, 48, 68, 69, 72, 81 and 95.
Car
It is not the most advisable option since traffic is heavy and parking is limited. If you still decide to drive, the Carrousel du Louvre underground parking is the closest option.

Remi our guide gave a fantastic tour! He had the perfect balance of information, fun stories, pace through the museum, and ability to stop and answer our questions! I highly recommend this tour! It was worth the investment to have a private tour as they were attentive to our needs and we were able to see so much more than we thought we would. The guide even extended his time to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see. A must for a museum this size!
