In case of bad weather or extreme heat, some outdoor areas may be closed.
Only small bags, smaller than cabin luggage, are allowed; the Abbey does not offer a coat check service.
Strollers must be folded to enter and exit the monument.

How do I get to the monument?
The Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel is located on the rocky island of Mont Saint-Michel, in the Normandy region (France).
The most common way to get there is to first go to the Mont Saint-Michel parking area and continue on foot, by free shuttle, or by horse-drawn carriage. Private vehicles cannot access the walled enclosure.
