Lamb, Moorish pastries, the use of different sauces, cheese, spinach, raisins, and various spices were recognizable traits of the Nazarí cuisine in its day. These flavors, whose origins date back centuries, have arrived in the present. In Granada, right next to the Alhambra, it is possible to taste dishes inspired by the Nazarí past.

All of this in a popular Carmen Granadino. You will have the chance to travel back in time centuries through a unique gastronomy.

  • Individual appetizer: Mini Nazarí Pastry (Delicious rolled pastry filled with lamb)
  • Individual starter: Garnatí Salad (Fresh spinach salad, cheese, raisins, and tomato vinaigrette)
  • Main course to choose from:

1. Nazarí-style Chicken: Chicken medallions stuffed with vegetables and nuts, almonds, and honey sauce with a side of rice and vegetables.

2. Vizier's Lamb: Baked and spiced lamb leg (boneless) accompanied by breadcrumbs, Padron peppers, and yogurt sauce.

3. Iskabay Almorí Salmon: Warm marinated salmon and pickled vegetables.

  • Individual dessert: Andalusian Cream with cane honey.
  • INCLUDES 2 drinks per person to choose from: 1 glass of Rey Zagal white or red wine, or 1 glass (31cl) of Especial Alhambra beer, or 1 soft drink (35cl), or Lanjarón mineral water from Sierra Nevada + coffee or Moroccan tea. Other extra drinks are not included.

Notes: The menu is individual and thus not shareable between two or more people.
