The Trastevere neighborhood seems unaffected by the hustle of the Italian capital. A neighborhood that resembles a small village still preserving the tradition and native culture of Italy.
On our Free Tour, we will discover one of the most beautiful corners of the Eternal City with an expert guide. We will start the tour at Ponte Sisto, from where we will cross Piazza Trilussa, passing through the alleyways that have inspired great artists. We will reach the Santa Apolonia square and walk along Via della Lungaretta to Piazza in Piscinulla, where the house of the famous writer Dante is located.
Then, we will continue our tour through Santa Cecilia square, where we will discover what happened to the patroness of music. Afterwards, we will stroll through Piazza Mercanti, which preserves the gastronomic and commercial spirit of this neighborhood. Finally, we will wander until we find the church of San Francesco a Ripa, known for the important Baroque sculpture it houses, and the Santa Maria in Trastevere square.
