The city of Barcelona is known for its incredible modernist heritage. Geniuses like Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner, or Puig i Cadafalch completely changed a city whose landmark work is undoubtedly the Sagrada Familia. Therefore, it could be said that Barcelona is an open-air museum of modernist art.

On this Free Tour, you will discover modernist Barcelona and learn how modernism changed the city. Our starting point will be Els 4 Gats and we will pass by Paseo de Gracia, Casa Lleó Morera, Casa Amatller, Casa Batlló, and La Pedrera, ending at the Sagrada Familia.

  • Entrance to monuments.
  • Metro ticket, necessary to continue a part of the Free Tour.

 

  • IMPORTANT: Part of this tour takes place in the Metro. The Free Tour does not include a ticket, which can be purchased at the station if you do not have one
  • Arrive 10-15 minutes early at the meeting point. If you arrive late, you will lose your right to take the tour.
  • No reservations are accepted for groups of more than 6 people.
  • The tour will be conducted with audioguides, the rental fee is €1.5 per person (from October 1, 2025, the price of the audioguides will be €1.5 per person).
  • Please check your spam or promotions folder, especially if you are using Hotmail, Outlook, or Yahoo.
  • As it is a Free Tour, there are no cancellation fees.
  • Please notify us a few hours in advance via Whatsapp +34 611406661 if you cannot attend.

Albert was so friendly and smart. He set the tone for our group of 6 to feel instantly bonded as new friends. We exchanged IG info to visit each other. Albert is passionate about Barcelona's architecture. I did his Barcelona and Modernism tour on my second day here, and it gave me such a good foundation for the layout of the City and all the neighborhoods as well as the context for the Gaudi sites I will be touring later. Highly recommend!
