Located on a hill 130 meters high, the neighborhood gained its fame and particular atmosphere during the belle-époque. Furthermore, it has been the residence of renowned artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso. A unique neighborhood that is also crowned by one of the most spectacular basilicas in the world: the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.

The route of our Free Tour begins next to the Moulin Rouge. Here we will admire the most famous cabaret in the world, known for the windmill at its door and for its history. After that, we will visit the Cafe deux Moulins, where some scenes from the movie Amélie were filmed. We will also discover the last functioning windmill, the Moulin de la Galette, which has an important connection to Napoleon.

We will also pass by the residence of Van Gogh, the building that housed Picasso's first studio in Paris, and the Moulin de la Galette, which was a source of inspiration for Renoir.
