This Free Tour invites you to discover the evolution of London through its most iconic monuments located on the banks of the river Thames. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will follow an itinerary that connects the medieval history with contemporary architecture, starting at the impressive St Paul’s Cathedral and continuing through the financial heart of the City of London. Along the way, you will understand how the city has grown around the river that defines it.
The journey continues across the Millennium Bridge to Bankside, an area that combines tradition and modernity with places like the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe, and the old Clink prison. In Southwark, you will discover Southwark Cathedral and the historic Borough Market, along with enjoying panoramic views of the Shard, the London City Hall, and Tower Bridge. A perfect ending to understand the duality between historic London and the present.
