Enjoy this Free Tour of the Jewish Quarter of Budapest. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will learn in detail about the past of this unique area of the historic center. It became the last ghetto established by the Nazis during World War II and is undoubtedly one of the most historically relevant neighborhoods in the Hungarian capital.
The route of our Free Tour starts at the Great Synagogue of Budapest, a historic and emblematic building of the city. Afterward, we will learn about the different stories of figures like Raoul Wallenberg and Ángel Sanz Briz, as well as places such as the Orthodox Synagogue or what was the old ghetto wall.
During the tour, we will also pass by various points of interest during World War II. Additionally, we will discover why the neighborhood is considered today the epicenter of the nightlife in the city. We will also not overlook places like Szimpla Kert, the most famous ruin bar in the world.
