Enjoy this Free Tour through the essential corners of Budapest. The capital of Hungary, an incomparable and special city, possesses a unique essence. From the grandeur of the Austro-Hungarian Empire to more recent times, such as World War II and the communist era, Budapest has been one of the most unique and visited corners of the continent.
The route of our Free Tour starts at what is currently the Hungarian Parliament, a historic and emblematic building of the city. After that, we will head to the Liberty Square, learning about the communist past and what was the 1956 Revolution. During the tour, we will also see the impressive monuments to the victims of World War II, the famous Deák Ferenc Square, the St. Stephen's Basilica, or the Erzsébet Square. Additionally, we will stroll along the stunning banks of the Danube, one of the rivers that marks the map of Europe.

During the Free Tour, the interiors of buildings and monuments are not visited. We recommend suitable walking clothes and footwear and carrying water or hydrating drinks. Bookings for groups larger than 8 people are not accepted.
