15 minutes from the city of Seville, in the town of Santiponce, lie the remains of Itálica, the first Roman city in the Iberian Peninsula. It became one of the largest populations in the Empire, boasting an enormous amphitheater that accommodated more than 25,000 people. Notably, emperors like Trajan and Hadrian were born in Itálica.
This guided tour will take you from the city of Seville to the archaeological site of Itálica. You will discover the ancient streets, baths, mosaics, the theater, and the huge Roman amphitheater where scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed. After that, you will visit the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, a Mudéjar, Gothic, and Baroque gem. Finally, you will return to Seville accompanied by our guide.
There are different pick-up points: Calle Trajano No. 6 (9:30 am) Hotel Don Paco (9:35 am) Calle Rastro 12A (9:45 am) Torre del Oro (10:00 am) These pick-up points will be the same for drop-off at the end of the tour.
