Visit the Vesuvius National Park, the famous volcano that buried Pompeii and Herculaneum in AD 79. It is located south of the Apennine mountain range, which occupies much of Italy.

On this excursion, you will be able to ascend to the summit of Vesuvius with round-trip transportation and guide included. After being picked up at the meeting point, you will comfortably ascend by bus to an altitude of 1000 meters. From the heights, you will have a wonderful panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples and the local nature.

Afterward, you will walk approximately 1 km to reach the crater of the volcano, where the guide will explain the geology of the volcano and the history of its most catastrophic eruptions. Once the tour is finished, you will have free time to stroll through the National Park at your own pace before returning to the pickup point.

  • The pickup time will be communicated to you the day before by the operator.
  • In case Vesuvius National Park closes due to adverse weather events or force majeure, you will be reimbursed only for the cost of the park entry.
  • On specific dates, due to high demand for this visit and to avoid overbookings, a request for availability is made; this will be indicated when you make the payment. You will be responded to within 72 hours informing you whether there are available spots. If the reservation is made less than that time, you will be responded to urgently. The amount will be blocked in the reservation request to ensure that if there is availability, there are funds to charge it.
  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity starts. Once that period is surpassed, you will lose the right to a refund.
