On this excursion, you will visit the cities of Taxco and Cuernavaca with a guide, and if you wish, you can descend into the silver mines in Taxco. The first stop of the excursion will be Cuernavaca, known as the "City of Eternal Spring" for its mild climate. In this city, the guide will accompany you to visit the cathedral, one of the oldest in America, and the Palace of Cortés, which was once the residence of the conqueror Hernán Cortés.
The next stop will be Taxco, a mining city inhabited by indigenous peoples that became the most important mining center of the colonizers after the Spanish occupation. In this city, you will visit a silver workshop, and in the afternoon, you can decide whether to enter the pre-Hispanic mines or to enjoy some more free time to visit Taxco.
