VIVE OTRA EXPERIENCIA
Very close to Toulouse, also in the Occitanie region, lies this historic walled city. Since 1997, this city of pre-Roman origin and medieval heritage has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In this trip from Toulouse, you will visit the walled city of Carcassonne with round-trip transportation and skip-the-line tickets to the Palace of the Count included. Once in Carcassonne, you will enter the city through one of the two ancient medieval entrances, the Porte Narbonaise, which opens in the imposing three-kilometer-long medieval wall.
Inside Carcassonne, you will have 6 hours of free time to stroll through the cobblestone streets of its old town and taste its typical cuisine. Don't miss the Basilica of Sainte-Nazaire or see one of the four watchtowers that are still standing. With your skip-the-line ticket to the Palace of the Count, you can also discover all its rooms and enjoy its wonderful views of the Aude River.
