Medina Azahara is one of the must-visit destinations in the province of Córdoba and one of the most visited archaeological sites in Andalusia. Declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 2018, this ancient palatine city, known as the Brilliant City, was one of the great symbols of the splendor of the Caliphate of Córdoba in the 10th century.

With the arrival of night, the archaeological complex of Medina Azahara transforms thanks to a night lighting system that enhances the beauty of its ruins. Exploring this place at dusk is a unique experience that combines history, mystery, and excitement.

In this night tour of Medina Azahara, you will walk through the site with an official expert guide, who will explain the history and curiosities of the site in a privileged setting. This night guided visit is only available during the summer months and allows you to discover all the enabled spaces of the site under specially designed lighting to highlight its most emblematic corners.

  • The departure time varies according to the booking option chosen. If you choose the option with transport from Córdoba, you should arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance of the time indicated on the voucher. If, on the other hand, you decide to go to the site on your own, wait for the guide at the shuttle bus stop and do not go to the site on your own.
  • Medina Azahara is an unpaved archaeological site with slopes.
  • On specific dates, due to high demand for this visit and to avoid overbookings, a request for availability is made, which is indicated when making the payment. A response will be provided within 72 hours informing you whether there are available spots or not. If the reservation is made with less than that notice, you will be responded to urgently. The amount will be blocked in the reservation request to ensure that funds are available if spots become available.

 

Once the reservation request is made, changes or cancellations are not accepted.
