On one hand, Medina Azahara, founded in the 10th century, is a site that treasures the remains of the ancient palatial city of Abderramán III. In contrast, the Mosque-Cathedral is a unique monument that reflects the passage of Islamic and Christian cultures throughout history.

In this guided tour, you will explore Medina Azahara and the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba with an official guide, two monuments that are World Heritage Sites. In the morning, you will visit Medina Azahara with transfer included from Córdoba if you select the option that includes it.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Mosque-Cathedral. You will walk beneath the famous red and white horseshoe arches and discover the Christian parts that were added later to convert the Mosque into a Cathedral.

    Children must be included in the booking, as a ticket will be required to access the monument. Arrive 10 minutes before the start at the meeting point. Note that this product includes TWO guided visits and each departs from a different meeting point. Medina Azahara: the departure time varies depending on the option booked. If you choose the option with transport from Córdoba, arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the time indicated on your voucher. If you go to the site on your own, wait for the guide at the shuttle-bus stop and do not go up to the site on your own. On certain dates and due to high demand, a request for availability may be used (shown at checkout). You will be informed within 72 hours whether places are available. For last-minute bookings, responses are prioritized. The amount will be pre-authorized to ensure funds are available if your booking is confirmed.

Guided Tour Medina Azahara:

If you choose the option with bus transfer from Córdoba, please arrive 10–15 minutes before departure time at the Bus Stop on Paseo de la Victoria (Glorieta Cruz Roja), in front of the Eurostars Palace Hotel. See on Google Maps.

If you decide to go by car, you must arrive at the archaeological site a little earlier than the time indicated on your voucher. You must leave your vehicle in the Medina Azahara parking area and wait by the shuttle bus stop. Do not go up to the site on your own; please wait for the guide to arrive with the rest of the group from Córdoba.

Guided Tour Mezquita of Córdoba: Departure at 4:00 p.m. from the door of the Tourist Information Office at the Congress Palace (C/ Torrijos, 10), next to the benches. See on Google Maps.
