Lisbon is a city that captivates its visitors. The streets of the Portuguese capital are filled with unique contrasts. In this Free Tour , you will come into contact with the history and culture of Lisbon while exploring the most iconic places in the city with an expert guide.
We will begin our Free Tour at the Praça dos Restauradores, right in the city center. We will discover each of the key points of this square, including the imposing obelisk located in its center. From there, we will walk to one of the most well-known viewpoints of the city of the seven hills, the Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara.
On our way to the Praça do Rossio, one of the nerve centers of Lisbon, we will stop at important places such as the Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II and the Igreja de São Domingos.
To learn about the history of Lisbon, we cannot miss the Convento do Carmo, or what remains of it after the Great Earthquake of 1755. After that, we will delve into the Baixa-Chiado neighborhood to reach the Lisbon Cathedral, the oldest church. The end of the tour will take place at the Praça do Comércio by the old dock Cais das Colunas, not before walking through the Arco da Rua Augusta.
