Dublin, a city filled with history and mystery, holds secrets that go deeper. With the Free Tour Legends and Mysteries, you will discover the most dark and unsettling tales of the Irish capital. You will stroll through the corners of the historic center while immersing yourself in the stories that have shaped the city's past.
The tour begins at St. Bernard's Square, visiting landmarks like City Hall and Dublin Castle, which was the seat of the British government in Ireland until 1922. We will also pass by Christ Cathedral, the medieval wall, and St Audeon's Church. Additionally, you will venture into lesser-known places like Jonathan Swift's alley or pub Darkey Kelly's.
You will learn about the story of Molly Malone, a fishmonger who, according to legend, died of fever in the street, and Darkey Kellye, who was burned alive under a death sentence; both have become famous legends of the city.
The tour concludes with a visit to The Brazen Head, the oldest pub in Dublin, which hides a terrifying story that has endured throughout the centuries and will chill your blood.
