This impressive fortress, reconstructed in the late 18th century, also suffered significant damage during World War II, still noticeable today.

This Free Tour will take you along the hill where Buda Castle is located with an expert guide. You will stroll and discover with us the exterior of this impressive fortification and its ancient walls, the Vienna Gate, St. George's Square, St. Mary Magdalene Church, or Matthias Church.

Throughout the tour, we will discuss various battles and wars related to the Castle and its location, as well as who András Hadik or Matthias Corvinus were and their connection to the place. To finish, we will head to the famous Fisherman's Bastion and the Viewpoint of Eugen of Savoy.
