LIVE A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE
This Free Tour will take you to explore the most representative places in Berlin during the Cold War, an era that profoundly marked the history of the German capital. Accompanied by a expert guide, you will start at the symbolic Palace of Tears and continue towards the old “ghost station” of Nordbahnhof, where you will learn how the divided city functioned and the difficult conditions of that period.
The tour continues to the Memorial of Bernauer Strasse, where one of the best-preserved sections of the Berlin Wall is still maintained. Here you will discover real stories of people who attempted to cross from one side to the other, as well as the history of the Church of Reconciliation and the so-called “death strip”. An essential experience to understand the city's recent past.
