How does the visit work?
A host will guide you through the Louvre so you can see the Mona Lisa and the most relevant works in the museum. Keep in mind that reserved access may be affected by the museum's security procedures, such as the Vigipirate plan, security checks, or large crowds.
Is there a luggage storage at the Louvre Museum?
Yes, you can use the luggage storage to leave your personal items or go to the 'Assistance' area if you need a stroller or a baby carrier.
How much time do I need to visit the Louvre?
The Louvre is one of the largest and most visited museums in the world, with over 400 rooms and an exceptional collection. The ideal visiting time depends on your pace and the works you want to discover. If you have only a few hours, the Denon wing is an excellent choice: there you can find some of the museum's most iconic works, such as the Gioconda (Mona Lisa), the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Coronation of Napoleon. For a longer and more leisurely visit, the Sully and Richelieu wings offer very comprehensive tours, with pieces like the Venus de Milo, the ancient remains of the medieval Louvre, and prominent collections of decorative art and European painting. The entrance to the Louvre Museum is valid for the whole day, allowing you to explore it at your own pace. Keep in mind that once you exit the museum, re-entry is not allowed.
