An unforgettable journey through walkways and unique landscapes The experience begins at the south access, next to the Hotel-Restaurant La Garganta, where the guide will manage the tickets and accompany you throughout the tour. After taking the shuttle bus to the north access, you will start the trail by passing through a tunnel carved in the rock and a pleasant walk through pine forests. Along the Caminito del Rey, you will traverse more than 3 kilometers of walkways over the gorge, admiring sites like the Grand Gaitán, the Crystal Viewpoint, and the famous hanging bridge that connects the canyon walls.

What is prohibited during the tour?
For safety/conservation, selfie sticks and drones, umbrellas, smoking, leaving the trail, swimming, and carrying bulky items are usually prohibited. Always follow the guide's instructions.
Where can I park my vehicle?
• Free parking at the south access of Caminito del Rey, 5 minutes from the meeting point. View on Google Maps
• On the sandy shoulder along the road from the free parking at the south access of Caminito del Rey to the Garganta Hotel-Restaurant.
• No parking is allowed at the Garganta Hotel-Restaurant parking lot, which is exclusive for staying guests.
How do I get to the meeting point: La Garganta Hotel - Restaurant?
By train
• Cercanías Line C-2 Málaga – El Chorro–Caminito del Rey (from María Zambrano or Victoria Kent station).
• Approximate duration: 45-50 minutes.
• The hotel is only 100 meters from the station, across the main road.
By bus
There are no direct buses to Caminito del Rey. But you can go from Málaga to the starting point by taking the bus line (M-231). It will take you from the city point (Málaga Bus Station / Clínico, Teatinos) to Piscina, Álora. At this same stop (Piscina, Álora), you will find the bus that will take you to El Chorro – El Caminito del Rey. Once you arrive at the reception of Hotel-Restaurant La Garganta, the guide will be waiting.
What is the difficulty level of the activity?
The route has a low difficulty. It is conducted at a leisurely pace, with some uneven or rocky sections, but accessible for anyone with a normal physical condition and accustomed to walking in the countryside.
